FESCO implementing minimum load management plan

Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO), Rashid Ahmed Aslam during a FESCO Operations circle meeting said, that the demand for electricity has increased in view of the current heat wave, and that FESCO is implementing the minimum load management plan to provide maximum relief to consumers.
He stressed upon FESCO authorities a consumer friendly attitude and to ensure early rectification of all power related problems. He warned, no negligence would be tolerated and strict disciplinary action would be initiated against officials who showed a lethargic attitude. He said, teams have been constituted for providing better service and ensuring uninterrupted power supply to FESCO consumers.
He also said, a reward of Rs 5 thousand cash to the best meter readers in every FESCO division will be given, so that target of 100 percent 'mobile meter reading accuracy' could be achieved by the end of June 2016. The CEO also further said, the Ministry of Water and Power has announced Ramzan bonus for the best power distribution company that achieves the target of 100 percent 'mobile meter reading accuracy'. The meeting was also attended among others by the Chief Commercial Officer Sardar Masood, Chief Financial Officer Zahid Hassan, CEO Operations A Siddiqui, Director Commercial Abdul Qayyum, DG (IT) Aziz Ahmed, Operation's SE of the four circles, Director (MM) Mazhar Abbas, Director (PR) Tahir Sheikh and SO Abid Rashid.
