Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif Sunday said that Father's Day was a day to commemorate the compassion and resilience of every father nation-wide.
"On this day, I wish to commemorate all fathers and the sacrifices they have made to make us, and our newer generations, who we are today," he said in his message on Father's Day being observed on Sunday.
He hoped that we can all come together on this important occasion to appreciate their virtues.
"Now not only as father, but also a grandfather, I understand the struggles my own father had to face and the sacrifices he had to make while raising me the best he could," the prime minister remarked.
