Mushtaq Raisani case: co-accused Shah given into NAB remand

National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Balochistan was granted the remand of Saleem Shah, ex-administrator of Municipal Committee Khaliqabad in a mega corruption case. The NAB team produced the accused Saleem Shah before the Accountability Court in Quetta where Judge, Abdul Majeed Nasar conducted hearing and granted the NAB the remand of the accused for 15 days.
"The Accountability Court accepted the NAB request for granting 15-day remand of the key accused in the mega corruption case," a spokesman for NAB said adding that the accused later would be presented before the court on July 04. NAB Balochistan had taken Saleem Shah, a wanted accused in mega corruption case, into custody after a raid in Sindh province. The accused was arrested in the corruption case, under which suspended finance secretary Mushtaq Ahmed Raisani and ex-finance advisor to the chief minister Mir Khalid Langove were arrested and being interrogated. "Mr Shah had dual charge of administrator of Municipal Committees of Mach Bolan and Khaliqabad," NAB Balochistan spokesman said.
