KP Inspector General of Police (IGP) Nasir Khan Durrani has thanked the provincial government for granting approval to extension in services of contract employees of Special Police Force and ex-servicemen and assured that this decision will go a long way in bringing positive impact on the overall law and order situation of the province.
According to details it had been decided to relieve the Special Police Officers and ex-servicemen from the force till June 30, 2016 and a notification to this effect had also been issued. The decision has badly shattered the hopes of these employees and their families. They have started taking up this issue on different forum particularly in media. They also sought help of the IGP by submitting application for extension in their services.
The IGP on Wednesday sent a letter to the provincial government in which he expressed gratitude and convey thanks to the chief minister for granting approval to extension in service of contract employees of Special Police Force and ex-servicemen.
