PTI leaders slam anti-poor policies of government

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar has accused the governing party of targeting the poor by making them poorer and jobless. "The rulers have become facilitators in anti-poor policies. Pakistan can't move ahead without eradicating the corrupt system and beginning the accountability. Better policies can't be expected from these rulers.
The government is looting the poor in Ramazan Mubarik despite its tall claims. Prosperity and development is neither visible nor present but the rulers and their companions are the only ones to witness prosperity," the former Punjab governor said after doling out the Ramazan package to the poor at the home of party leader Mian Khalid Javed. He also talked about "unnecessary expenditure of billion of rupees on unneeded projects that have surged unemployment and poverty in the country".
Opposition leader Mian Mehmoodur Rasheed, who too was present, said, "It appears there's hardly any government in the country because the rulers are running the country without abiding by the constitution. These rulers are running the country according to their own desires without respecting national desires. People have no other option but to commit suicide." Party leader Ijaz Chaudary too joined their chorus, claiming, "The days will come when people will get rid of corrupt rulers and the government will be formed under the dynamic leadership of Imran Khan who will bring prosperity."
