District Nazim, Peshawar, Mohammad Asim Khan has directed the activation of all ineffective schools of the district before the end of summer vacations, installation of solar system for provision of uninterrupted power supply to schools of rural areas, filling the shortage of teachers and other staff and taking of emergency based steps for provision of clean and cold drinking water in schools.
He issued these directives while presiding over a meeting regarding bringing improvement in the conditions of schools, activation of ineffective schools, guaranteeing provision of basic facilities in schools, filling deficiency of teachers and other staff and re-launching of enrolment drive after summer vacations. Those who attended the meeting were District Education Officer (DEO) (Male), Raz Wali Khan, DEO (Female), Ulfat Begum, Assistant Director Education Officer (ADEO), Inamullah, DDEO, Mohammad Azam Khan and others.
