Disconnection of power supply: PESCO accelerates campaign

Peshawar Electricity Supply Company (PESCO) has accelerated disconnection campaign against power defaulters throughout Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and due to non-payment of billions of rupees Pesco's Bannu Circle teams cut off power supply to federal and provincial departments. According to details power supply disconnected to PA North due to non-payment of Rs 1.15 million, passport office 0.11 million, Airport 0.47 million, NHA due to non-payment of Rs 2.51 million, Fata DC due to non-payment of Rs 14.53 million, BS Company due to non-payment of Rs 1.0 million.
Similarly, Pesco disconnected supply of C&W due to non-payment of Rs 1.40 million, Education department due to Rs 3.50 million, Health Department Rs 3.0 million, District Jail Bannu Rs 5.40 million, TMA Bannu Rs 3.72 million, P&I Rs 8.71 million to 29 connections of Irrigation department due to Rs 2.15 millions. Similarly in DI Khan 183 Federal and Provincial departments were disconnected due to non-payment of Rs 20.15 million.
Similarly in Hazara Circle disconnected power supply due to non-payment of Rs 32853/- water supply scheme Budari, due to non-payment of Rs 19985, power supply disconnected to water supply scheme Bandan, power supply disconnected to WSS Dodial due to non-payment of Rs 48498, power supply disconnected due to non-payment of Rs 20584 to WSS Kalghan, due to non-payment of Rs 324764, power supply disconnected to Old library Hazara University, power supply disconnected to WSS Achrain due to non-payment of Rs 4050020,power supply disconnected to forest rest house Domail due to non-payment of Rs 74776,power supply disconnected to BHU Civil hospital Battal due to non-payment of Rs 353615, power supply disconnected to Education department due to non-payment of Rs 475996 and power supply disconnected to Union council Battal due to non-payment of Rs 7320. The company has warned both private and public sector defaulters to deposit their outstanding dues immediately otherwise their power supply will be disconnected without any further notice.
