In order to ensure proper security arrangements for all the provincial wildlife parks and zoological gardens during Eid-ul-Fitr holidays, nine officers of the departments have been assigned and a notification in this regard was issued here on Thursday. These officers will also monitor presence of staff during Eid holidays, facilitation of the visitors to wildlife parks and zoological gardens and complete observation of rules and regulations.
Decision to this effect was taken at a meeting which was held on Thursday with the Director General Wildlife & Parks Khalid Ayyaz Khan. Those who have been assigned the task include Deputy Director Wildlife (Publicity & Research) Aamir Masood to monitor Lahore Zoological Gardens and Safari Zoo, Deputy Director Bahawalpur Muhammad Saleem Akhtar to check Pirowal and Vehari Park, Deputy Director Faisalabad Rana Shahbaz Khan will monitor Dera Ghazi Khan Zoo and Fateh Pur Park Layyah, Deputy Director Salt Range Riaz Ahmad will check Loi Bher Park and Bansara Gali Murree Park, Deputy Director Rawalpindi Muhammad Anwar Maan will monitor Wildlife Park Gatwala Faisalabad, Deputy Director Multan Dr Anwar Hussain Gill Wildlife Park Rahim Yar Khan and Bahawalpur Zoo, Deputy Director Sargodha Azhar Saeed Janjua Wildlife Park Bahawalnagar and Sulemanki, Deputy Director Gujranwala Dr Zahid Iqbal Bhatti will monitor Wildlife Park Jallo and Changa Manga while Deputy Director Lahore/Sahiwal Division Zahid Iqbal will be responsible for Bhagat and Kamalia Wildlife Parks. Khalid Ayyaz Khan while addressing these officers to ensure checking and monitoring of parks assigned to them during Eid holidays.
