The 20th meeting of Provincial Selection Board-II during the current year in a row was held under the chairmanship of Additional Chief Secretary Punjab Shamail Ahmad Khawaja at Civil Secretariat here on Thursday.
Around 12 officers belonging to Punjab Secretariat Service (PSS) and 18 officers belonging to Executive Provincial Civil Service (Ex-PCS) cadre have been promoted to grade 18 and will be deputed in the Secretariat as well as the other field offices throughout the province in grade 18.
The posts vacated by these 17 grade officers will be filled by the officers belonging to Punjab Management Service (PMS) because all the available 17 grade PSS and Ex.PCS officers have been promoted to grade 18 slots. Secretary Services Punjab Farhan Aziz Khawaja, Secretary Regulations Punjab Dr Saleh Tahir, Additional Secretary Admin (S&GAD) Sahibzadi Waseema Omer and other relevant senior officers participated in the 20th meeting of Provincial Selection Board-II.
