The chairperson Sindh Investment Board (SBI), Naheed Memon, discussed opportunities for bilateral trade and other mutual interests with the ambassadors of Turkey and Italy and the Director of World Bank. Naheed Memon, in separate meetings met with the Ambassador of Turkey, Sadik Babur Girgin, Ambassador of Italy, Stefano Pontecorvo and Director of the World Bank Patchamutho Illangovan in Islamabad, a SBI spokesman said here on Friday.
The SBI chairperson discussed with the Italian envoy mutual cooperation, especially in the automobile, education, health and housing sectors. Naheed also requested the Italian Ambassador to extend her invitation to the Italian Commerce Minister for visiting Sindh during his soon expected visit to Pakistan. Later, in a separate meeting with the Director of the World Bank, she discussed projects of mutual interest and cooperation.
