On Thursday, at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange (PMEX), value traded was PKR 12,190 million and the number of lots traded was 23,070. PMEX Commodity Index closed at 2,908. Major business was contributed by currencies through COTS amounting to PKR 8,908 million followed by gold (PKR 2,477 million), crude oil PKR 491.67 million, silver PKR 310.44 million and cotton PKR 2.37 million.
