Five people were killed when the roof of an ice factory collapsed in New Karachi area following a compressor blast. A spokesman of the Commissioner Karachi Office said that the rescue work was going on to remove the debris. He said that Commissioner Karachi has directed that the rescue work be completed at the earliest.
A Sindh police spokesman said that five bodies have been removed from the debris. The spokesman further said that Administrator Karachi, Laeeq Ahmed, also visited the scene of the incident.
