Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) while strongly condemning the barbaric act of terrorism in Saudi Arabia has said that Pakistani nation in general and business community in particular stands shoulder to shoulder with their Saudi brothers. Terrorist attacks in Saudi Arabia are tragedy for whole Islamic world. LCCI President Sheikh Muhammad Arshad, Senior Vice President Almas Hyder and Vice President Nasir Saeed in their joint statement on Tuesday said that our prayers and hearts go out to our Saudi brothers in this testing time.
They said that terrorist attacks in Saudi Arabia are an ample proof of the fact that terrorists have no religion and they are busy to do crime against the humanity. It is not just a terror attack on the people of Saudi Arabia but it is a heinous crime against the entire humanity. Leaders around the globe should join heads and evolve strategy to fight common battle against terrorism, they said.
The terrorist attacks in Saudi Arabia are well planned conspiracy to shatter the global peace. They said that OIC and United Nations should convene a roundtable of all heads of states to make a consensus policy to cope with terrorism related incidents that have jolted the very basis of the globe. They said that these terrorists should be brought to justice. "Any further delay in taking a strong stand against terrorists would cause undue damage to the internal peace and harmony therefore there is a dire need to sit together and evolve a methodology to get rid of the menace of terrorism", they added.
