That the Middle East is in a profound turmoil is a strong reality. The American hubris has played the most critical role in creating a state of great disturbance, bloodshed, confusion and uncertainty in the region. The US invasion of Iraq in 2003 gave birth to the monster of Daesh which is stalking across continents. Arguably, it has successfully turned Europe into another Middle East, although the turmoil in this region owes its burden equally to the Machiavellian Anglo-American policies in the region and the abysmal failure of the Muslim leaderships to appropriately respond to these challenges.
