Chancellor Jawaid Anwar, Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Syed Jawaid H Rizvi and Registrar Syed Sarfraz Ali of Sir Syed University of Engineering & Technology (SSUET) have expressed their deep sense of grief over the sad demise of revered social activist Abdul Sattar Edhi who changed lives of people in Pakistan and made history.
While expressing their deep sorrow in a condolence message, they said: "Abdul Sattar Edhi was a noble soul who dedicated his whole life to the service of mankind. His efforts will always be remembered as Edhi's contribution to social welfare is irreplaceable. He was a true asset to the country and the nation has lost a great philanthropist today. Although Abdul Sattar Edhi is no more with us, yet his legacy of serving humanity will never die. Let's honour him by continuing his mission." They prayed to Almighty Allah for the departed soul to rest in eternal peace and wished for strength for Edhi's family to cope with the irreparable loss.-PR
