Pakistan Muslim League-Q (PML-Q) senior leader and former Deputy Prime Minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi has expressed grief over demise of great social worker Abdul Sattar Edhi saying his mission should keep moving onward and the government should help Edhi Foundation in this regard. In his condolence message, Elahi said the nation has given title of "Khadam-e-Azam" to Abdul Sattar Edhi which will live till end of the world. Real title is that the nation confers, while some people become self-called Khadam-e-A'ala but they have no service as such.
Elahi said people like Abdul Sattar Edhi are born rarely, Almighty Allah had blessed him with many capabilities, every eye is shedding tear on his demise today, we pray that Almighty Allah may grant patience to his family to bear this great loss and place his soul high and still higher degrees.
He said that service to the people which late had started will keep his name alive till end of the world, Edhi Foundation should work with greater zeal and dedication so that what work he has left behind should be carried onward with same spirit as was in his life time.
He said before launching 1122 service he had consulted Abdul Sattar Edhi and had started such a service which had been appreciated by international bodies also, all governments should work hard day and night like Edhi Sahib instead of mere lip service and treading on the path he has shown with good intention all works can be done even if there are no resources.
