An earthquake measuring 4.9 on the Richter scale rocked Quetta, Zhob, Chaman and adjoining areas on early Monday morning. People came out of their homes in panic and started reciting verses from the Holy Quran. No loss of life was reported due to earthquake. According to National Seismic Monitoring Centre, the epicentre of the quake which struck at 02:34am on early Monday morning was located 34 km east of Zhob.
