Prices of rice were higher on the wholesale grain market on Tuesday in the process of modest trading, dealers said. On the cereals side, Masoor Canada low type was higher by Rs 200 to Rs 10800 while the best type was unchanged at Rs 11000, Masoor Dall Canada inferior quality gained the same amount to Rs 12800 due to strong demand, they said.
On the rice side, Irri-6 Sindh low quality picked up Rs 125 to Rs 3575 and the best quality was up by Rs 150 to Rs 3650, they said.
On the seeds sector, cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh new low type did not move any side at Rs 2100 while the fine type was down by Rs 75 to Rs 2175, they said. Prices were unmoved on the grams side, they said.
