On Monday, at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange (PMEX), value traded was PKR 4,229 million and the number of lots traded was 9,026. PMEX Commodity Index closed at 2,936. Major business was contributed by currencies through COTS amounting to PKR 2,063 million followed by gold PKR 1,661 million, crude oil PKR 305.88 million, silver PKR 193.26 million and cotton PKR 4.58 million.
