Rs 6 billion scam: owner of ad agency joins probe, NAB informs Supreme Court

Submitting a progress report before the Supreme Court in a Rs 6 billion advertising corruption scam in Sindh, the Prosecutor General National Accountability Bureau informed the court that an owner of advertising company Inam Akbar has been provided questionnaire for inquiry into the matter.
Appearing before a three-member bench of Chief Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali in the case, PG Waqas Qadeer Dar submitted that Inam Akbar has joined the investigation. Responding to the court query, Dar submitted that it is the NAB which provides questionnaire to accused in corruption cases.
The bench said that it will allow Inam Akbar to go abroad once after he will answer the NAB questionnaire and adjourned the hearing for a week.
