The people from different areas of Charsadda here on Monday staged protest demonstration and blocked Peshawar-Charsadda road against the prolonged power outages. The enraged residents of Charsadda took out to the streets to record their protest against the prolonged and unscheduled loadshedding.
Government representatives protesters staged demonstration, blocked Peshawar-Charsadda road, chanted slogans against the Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO) and government.
They said the power supply had been suspended in many areas of the region for one week, causing agitation for the local residents. They warned if smooth power supply wasn't ensured, villagers, including women and children, would march on the Wapda House in Peshawar.
