The Punjab government and the Capital City Police officer have been told to file their responses by August 1 in a petition seeking contempt proceedings to implement a court ban on protests on the Mall Road.
The petition by the Mall Road Traders Association has accused the provincial government of failing to execute the Lahore High Court ban on rallies and protests on the Mall.
