Kashmir Accession to Pakistan Day observed

Kashmir Accession to Pakistan day was observed by the refugees from the occupied Jammu and Kashmir settled in the Sialkot district on Tuesday. The daylong programmes started with special prayers for the solidarity, unity and prosperity of the country as well as for the early liberation of occupied valley in various mosques of the district.
Addressing a meeting held in connection with Kashmir Accession to Pakistan a senior leader of All Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference Sheikh Muhammad Saleem said that it was the beginning of movement that resulted in formation of All Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference under the dynamic leadership of Late Choudary Ghulam Abbas in 1932.
All Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference on 19th July 1947 passed a historic resolution demanding the Dogra rulers to accede the state of Jammu and Kashmir to Pakistan respecting the popular sentiments of the people of the state, he added.
He further said that it is high time that more than half centenary old Kashmir dispute should be resolved according to wishes of Kashmiris in the light of United Nations Resolution. Another prominent Kashmiri leader of All Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference Ejaz Ahmad Sheikh while addressing the meeting said that Kashmiri people were struggling for liberating their motherland from the Indian yoke and they deserved the attainment of freedom loving countries in this regard.
Despite giving the right of self-determination to the Kashmiris according to United Nations resolutions the Indian Army was butchering the Kashmiris ruthlessly in held valley he added. The killing of innocent Kashmiris had become a daily routine and atrocities are increased many fold in the held valley in recent past. The refugees settled in Sialkot district on this occasion strongly condemned the killing of innocent Kashmiris and appealed to all peace loving nations and Secretary General United Nations to use their influence and stress Indian government for stopping wide range assassination of Kashmiris in held Kashmir.
It is very unfortunate that the champions of human rights and peace are silent over the serious human rights violations and killing of Kashmiris by Indian forces struggling for the liberation of their motherland from Indian Yoke, they said. They also criticised United Nation and urged upon the Secretary General UNO to give up the double standard and take notice of Killing Kashmiris in held Kashmir by the Indian forces.
