Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) on International ECO Internship Programme (IEIP) and Corporate Membership Programme. The ceremony was held at Sui Northern Head Office, where Managing Director SNGPL, Amjad Latif and Director General WWF Pakistan, Hammad Naqi Khan signed the MoU. International ECO Internship Program (IEIP) is part of CSR activities of SNGPL and it will be implemented in the leading school systems across Pakistan.
SNGPL has sponsored 3,500 students of Private/ Government Schools, Colleges and Universities at a total cost of Rs 16,00,000 On the occasion, Amer Tufail DMD (S), Zahid Hussain SGM (D/N), Azam Khan Wazir GM (LS) and Farrukh Majeed GM HSE along with other Official of WWF Pakistan were also present. On the occasion, further areas of collaboration between WWF and SNGPL will also be explored. The Program is based on the interactive sessions, enabling the students to understand better ways of energy utilisation and the significance of its conservation and impact such knowledge to their families.
