NAB KP arrests three Hajj operators

National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Thursday arrested Nazar Muhammad, Waqas and Abdullah Jan, owner of Afridi Hajj & Umrah Services Private Ltd Peshawar, who are allegedly involved in cheating scores of Hujjaj and deprived them of approximately Rs 20 million. The accused persons were running a Travel Agency in the name of Afridi Hajj & Umrah Services Private Ltd Peshawar. They collected approximately Rs 340,000 to Rs 380,000 per Haji in garb of private Hajj facility.
The affectees were made to go to the entire Hajj application process. They were given different dated for flight when the Hujjaj reached the airport they found out that accused persons have deprived them off their hard earned money. Taking cognisance of the offense, NAB Khyber Pakhtunkhwa actively pursued the inquiry and arrested the culprits not only because it is a financial nature of fraud and regretfully they made Hujjaj their victims. Affectees are advised to approach Office of the Director General, National Accountability, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, PDA Complex, Block - III, Phase - V, Hayatabad Peshawar for registering their claims during office hours.
