MCCI President condemns Munich attack

Multan Chamber of Commerce & Industry (MCCI) has vehemently condemned the terrible attack in a shopping mall in Munich, Germany which caused death of ten citizens.
In a statement issued here on Sunday, Fareed Mughis Sheikh President of MCCI said the businessmen and people of Southern Punjab extend their heartfelt condolences to the Government and people of the Germany on this horrifying tragedy. He said Pakistan stands in solidarity with Germany in this hour of grief. He said that Pakistan and Germany had brotherly bilateral trade relations and German Association Trade and Economy (GATE) was formed for the further development of trade and investment projects was launched in Berlin. He said that the forum will provide extensive knowledge and key local contacts in Pakistan to German investors with special focus on medium and small size enterprises (SMEs) for establishing their business houses and manufacturing units in Pakistan. Pakistan Gate will also act as a counterpart of the two existing business councils in Pakistan: German-Pakistan Trade and Invest (GPTI) and Pakistan-German Business Forum (PGBF).
