A briefing campaign for motorcyclists was launched in all beat of national highways and motorway police N-5 Central. The Motorway Police gave briefing and imparted education to 51,938 motorcyclists over different violations, said DIG Mirza Faran Baig while observing special awareness campaign.
Faran Baig said briefing on different violations like riding without helmet, underage drivers, reckless riding, without lights and one way violations was given to motorcyclists by patrolling officers.
The DIG said the briefing session would carry out at roadside hotels, patrol pumps, movie points, bus stands and on national highways. The mobile education unit and operation officers would visit educational institutions, factories and transporter offices adjacent to national highways to educate the public he added.
