NAB rejects PTI's plea against Dar

National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Saturday decided not to open corruption cases against Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar. NAB officials stated that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) was unable to present any evidence of Dar's involvement in corruption, therefore the application presented by the party was rejected. Meanwhile, NAB has summoned former Federal Minister for Ports and Shipping Babar Ghauri and former State Minister Nabil Gabol next week. Both ministers were accused of making unlawful appointments in the Karachi Port Trust and illegal allotments of plots.
