PIA to start its pre-Hajj operation from today

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) is going to commence its Hajj operation from 10 cities of the country. This was decided at a high level meeting headed by chairman PIA Azam Saigol to review the arrangements of Hajj operations for this year at PIA office, here on Wednesday. All concerned PIA departments were represented in the meeting.
According to details, PIA will commence its Hajj operations from 10 cities of Pakistan including Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, Quetta, Faisalabad, Sialkot, Sukkur, Multan, Rahimyarkhan. For the pre-hajj operation, which will continue from August 4 to September 5, 2016, the national flag carrier will operate more than 265 flights including its scheduled flights to Jeddah and Madina cities. The airline is expecting to transport 51,000 Hujjaj approximately during its pre-hajj operation.
PIA Spokesman stated that PIA's first hajj flight PK-2503 was scheduled to depart at 4:25 am from Islamabad on August 4 (today) with 328 intended pilgrims. He said that chairman PIA had directed all departments to gear up efforts to ensure smooth Hajj operation.
