UGB chairman for timely completion of CPEC projects

Vice President, SAARC Chamber of Commerce & Industry and chairman United Business Group (UBG), Iftikhar Ali Malik, has said that Pakistan is on the path of economic progress which will lead to industrial development overcoming unemployment.
Talking to regional leaders of UBG, he emphasised the need of apprising young generation about economic challenges faced by the country, besides ongoing development projects so that they should have clear concept in their minds about economy.
He said that the group was striving hard to serve business community without discrimination. He also underlined the need of timely completion of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). "Completion of this project will increase trade between CIS countries.
CPEC will promote connectivity across Pakistan with a network of highways, railways, and pipelines accompanied by energy, industrial, and other infrastructure development projects to boost Pakistan's economic growth," he added. He said CEPC has the potential of making Pakistan one of the most strategically important countries in the region.
