Sindh CM vows positive changes in all sectors

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has assured that the people would soon witness positive changes in all sectors of life particularly in promotion of health and education where the efforts would be made on war footing basis in order to provide relief to masses. The Chief Minister expressed these remarks while talking to media persons after performing fateha and laying "Chaddar" at the mazar of Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalandar here on Wednesday.
The Chief Minister said that the problems of the people could be resolved overnight, however, the government has set its goals in bringing positive changes to address the grievances of the masses at the earliest.
About elimination of corruption, he said that corruption is the oldest issue of the region and it was the reason that in his first address in 1947, the father of the nation Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah said that second stage would be addressed to root out the cancer of corruption after maintaining law and order in the country.
The Chief Minister maintained that all out efforts would be made to root out the corruption with punitive action against the corrupt persons. He also vowed to make all out efforts for getting the funds of Sindh according to its share and raising voice for the rights of the people of province at all forums including the federation.
About law and order, the Chief Minister praised the services of Rangers and Sindh Police for improving the situation adding that with the cooperation of Rangers, efforts are being made to restore the past glory of Karachi.
The Chief Minister said that no summary has been moved the Federal Government regarding the powers of Rangers except a letter in this direction and the provincial government received no verbal or written reply on it. There is no issue regarding the powers of Rangers, he said and added that the provincial government would not allow making this issue a political concern.
About development in Sindh, Syed Murad Ali Shah said that all pending development projects would be completed in every nook and corner of the province including Jamshoro district. The government is ready for effective delivery to the masses of the province, he added.
Earlier on arrival at Sehwan air port, the Chief Minister was accorded rousing welcome by the PPP workers. The Chief Minister drove straight to his ancestral village Wahore where he offered fateha and laid floral wreaths at the grave of his father and former Sindh chief Minister Syed Abdullah Shah. He was also received warm welcome when he reached to his home in Wahore.
The Chief Minister also visited the mazar of Lakki Shah Saddar where he offered fateha and laid floral wreaths after offering fateha at the graves of Shujauddin Rahupoto and Ali sher Rahupoto and attending reception of Sikandar Rahupoto at Village Bhamba.
