On Thursday, at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange (PMEX), value traded was PKR 5,169 million and the number of lots traded was 11,354. PMEX Commodity Index closed at 3,000. Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 2,208 million followed by currencies through COTS PKR 2,149 million, crude oil PKR 610.53 million, silver PKR 198.39 million and cotton PKR 3.14 million.
