Poor hygienic conditions, use of substandard materials: administration conducts raids on bakery, spice factories

On the directives of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Peshawar, Riaz Khan Mehsud, Additional Assistant Commissioner (AAC), Imran Khan conducted raid on a renowned bakery at University Road and arrested its manager on poor hygienic conditions.
Speaking on the occasion, the AAC warned all bakery owners to comply with hygiene regulations, otherwise stern action will be taken against them.
Meanwhile, AAC Ahmad Kamal conducted raids on spices manufacturing factories on Charsadda Road and sealed four of them for manufacturing adulterated and substandard spices.
During the raid, the AAC expressed anguish over the poor cleanliness conditions, use of substandard materials and child labour in the factories and sealed four factories after arresting six persons.
