Governor Sindh administers oath to nine more ministers

Governor Sindh Dr Ishrat Ul Ebad Khan took oath from newly-inducted nine ministers in the Provincial Cabinet, here on Sunday at Governor House. Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah was also present on the occasion. Chief Secretary Sindh Muhammad Siddique Memon conducted the oath taking ceremony.
The newly-appointed Ministers included Manzoor Hussain Wassan, Mir Hazar Khan Bajrani, Imdad Ali Pitafi, Fayyaz Butt, Muhammad Ali Malkani, Mumtaz Hussain Jakhrani, Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, Muhammad Bux Mehar and Ikram Ullah Khan Dharejo.
Besides, 11 new Special Assistants have also been included in the cabinet, which are Rehana Laghari, Nadir Khawaja, Darwan Chandio, Abid Ali Bhiyo, Taimur Talpur, Syed Qasim Naveed, Umer Rehman Malik, Baber Afandi, Zulfiqar Baihan, Shahid Thaheem and Naveed Anthony.
After Sunday's oath taking the provincial cabinet now comprises 37 members having 18 Ministers, four Advisors and 15 Special Assistants.
Before the oath taking ceremony, Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah called on Governor Sindh.
During the meeting law and order, development projects and situation of various districts after rain was discussed in detail.
The newly-appointed members of provincial cabinet also met with Governor Sindh along with Chief Minister Sindh.
Governor Sindh stressed upon them to serve the masses according to their oath. He said that people entrusted them for the solution of their grievances and now they have been given a responsibility to head department it is their duty to resolve the difficulties being confronted by the masses especially poor and downtrodden.
He hoped that under the guidance and leadership of Chief Minister Sindh the whole cabinet would try its best to minimise the sufferings of the masses throughout the province.
