Two security personnel embraced martyrdom in a blast of improvised explosive device (IED) in Tehsil Nawogai, here on Monday morning. The FC media cell said that the officials of a security force were carrying drinking water on mules to their post from nearby area when the IED exploded critically injuring the two cops. The security forces and local people immediately reached the spot and rushed the injured to the Bajaur Agency Headquarters Hospital at Khar where both the injured havaldars namely Mushtaq and Khurshid succumbed to injuries.
