Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Punjab leader Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar has said that murder of 2591 people in one year is a charge sheet against the provincial government. "1,64,877 crimes in one year have unveiled the mis-governance of the provincial government. Law and order has become a dream in Punjab. 629 crimes of robbery occurred in 8 months. He questioned as to why the government doesn't use police for protection of people instead of political interference?
"It's duty of the government to protect minorities and grant them rights in accordance with vision of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah the Constitution." He was addressing different functions organised in connection with international minorities' day. PTI's Minorities wing leader Sohail Khokhar, Chaudhary Sooba, Farooq Bashir, Yusuf Banjum and others were present at occasion. Highlighting failings of PML-N government, Sarwar said Punjab police failed to protect life and property of people. 8,270 people have lost their motorcycles and cars in the province while 2,400 people have lost animals.
