Legislative work: KP PA takes lead: Speaker

Speaker, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, Asad Qaiser has said that the performance of the province is better in all aspects and worth following. He was talking to Advisor UNDP Miss Funica Ogi here in provincial assembly on Thursday. Besides, the representatives of UNDP in Pakistan, Special Secretary Assembly, Nasrullah Khattak, Attaullah Khan and Syed Waqar Shah were also present on the occasion.
Asad Qaiser said that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly has taken lead in legislation, saying that in last general elections a large number of educated youth have been elected to the house, which required capacity building.
Appreciating the cooperation of the UNDP in the capacity building of the members, he stressed the need for more cooperation in this regard, so the capability of the new members of the provincial assembly would be further improved. He said that training for the capacity building of the members of provincial assembly will bring positive and far reaching impact. On this occasion, Speaker, Asad Qaiser briefed the UNDP delegation regarding committee system, performance and other matters in detailed.
