Excise and Taxation department of Sindh government on Thursday claimed to have seized substantial quantity of hashish during raid at Malir area. According to E&T officials, the department on the directives of Excise Minister Mukesh Kumar Chawala has kicked off massive drive against drugs in Sindh particularly in Karachi.
They said the E&T team on a tip-off conducted raid at Katchi Abadi Khaskaili Mohalla located at Ibrahim Hydri district Malir that led the recovery of over 20 kilograms hashish; however accused Ghulam Hyder managed to flee from the spot. They said that case had been registered against the accused and investigations were under way.
