On Thursday, at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange (PMEX), value traded was PKR 4,970 million and the number of lots traded was 17,846. PMEX Commodity Index closed at 3,006. Major business was contributed by crude oil amounting to PKR 1,924 million followed by gold PKR 1,724 million, currencies through COTS PKR 1,234 million, silver PKR 84.17 million and cotton PKR 3.01 million.
