Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak invited all political leaders to join hands to work together for the prosperity of the country. Khattak wished Independence Day to the nation and said that the nation is committed to continue war against terror till elimination of terrorism all terrorist.
He was speaking at flag hoisting ceremony held at Civil Secretariat here on Sunday. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Senior Minister Sikandar Hayat Khan Sherpao, provincial ministers, MPAs, parliamentary leaders, chief secretary, IGP KP, and other high officials were also present on the occasion.
Before the start of the ceremony, the participants observed one-minute silence after that the KP Chief Minister Pervez Khattak hoisted national flag.
He said the living nations cannot forget their heroes. Those nations, which progressed had adopted the sacrifices of their heroes as role model.
