Fields of hospitality, food: PUM Netherlands to train students: Tevta

Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) Chairman Irfan Qaiser Sheikh Monday said that senior expert from PUM Netherlands; a non-profit organisation will train students in the fields of hospitality, food and beverages. He was addressing the delegation of PUM Netherlands headed by France Friedmen, here today.
The foreign master trainers will arrive in Pakistan by the end of this month and training programme will be started from next month. Irfan Qaiser Sheikh said that TEVTA requires the services of foreign trainers to train our students in hospitality, tourism, school management, paramedics and floriculture. With the arrival of food chains in Pakistan, they need skilled manpower in these sectors. All these efforts were being made to overcome the shortage of trained manpower. PUM Netherlands senior expert France Friedmen appreciated the efforts of TEVTA to train youth in various sectors.
