The Sindh Finance Department has revised the existing rates of Special pay admissible to Private Secretary, Additional Private Secretary and Personal Assistant with immediate effect. After revision of the rates of the special pay/allowances of Private Secretary (PS) to Minister/ Advisor/ Special Assistant is now from Rs 1,000 per month to Rs 2,000, said a statement on Monday.
Private Secretary (PS) to Secretary from Rs 800 per month to Rs 1,600 per month, Private Secretary (PS) to Additional Secretary from Rs 600 per month to Rs 1,200 per month. Additional Private Secretary (APS)/ Personal Assistant (PA) to Minister/ Secretary/ Additional Secretary from Rs 400 per month to Rs 800 per month and Additional Private Secretary (APS)/ Personal Assistant (PA) to Deputy Secretary from Rs 320 per month to Rs 640 per month. The above rates of special pays shall be accommodated within the budgetary allocation for the year 2016-17 by the respective departments and no supplementary grants would be given on this account.
