Foreign investors: KP offers 'unmatched' incentives: Khattak

Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak said that the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa offered unmatched incentives to attract foreign investment in different sectors including projects to be set up under CPEC, hydro power generation, tourism, housing and infrastructure development.
He was talking to the Ambassador of Iran, Mehdi Hunerdost at Chief Minister's House here today. Iranian Consul General and other relevant officials were also present at the occasion. They discussed the areas of cooperation in different sectors and the Iranian willingness to explore the possibility of futuristic investment in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Pervez Khattak welcoming the Iranian Ambassador said that his government had attractive incentives for both domestic and foreign investment. The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Iran could explore fast track trade and investment in future.
He said that his government brought about a visible change in all public sectors institutions and made the potential advantages of this province open for investment. We have an investment friendly environment because we have an autonomous company working for the industrialisation and trade activities. He assured his government would welcome Iranian government and its companies for investment in the province.
Both recognised the importance of cordial relations among Pakistan, China and Iran and declared CPEC as the most important route that would change the destiny of the entire belt. They expressed their commitment for strong and stable relationship, mutual trade and the sharing of information relating to enhancing the level of trade and business between the two governments.
