Restoring infrastructure of city: UBG calls for round-the-clock work

Secretary General of United Business Group (UBG) Zubair Tufail has stressed on the need to work dedicatedly round the clock to restore decaying infrastructure of the city. Welcoming inauguration of 260 million gallons per day (MGD) K-4 water project by Sindh CM Syed Murad Ali Shan, he said that the former Murad's predecessor Qaim Ali Shah too had inaugurated this project about a year ago but after inauguration no progress was made.
He said that the completion of this project would help overcome the persisting water shortage to a larger extent. He said that water shortage, poor sewerage system, bumpy roads, leaking waterlines and overflowing gutters were not only creating hindrances in the smooth flow of vehicular traffic but also extensively damaging roads in different parts of the city.
