On Tuesday, at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange (PMEX), value traded was PKR 7,131 million and the number of lots traded was 13,277. PMEX Commodity Index closed at 3,033. Major business was contributed by gold PKR 3,450 million, followed by currencies through COTS amounting to PKR 2,815 million, crude oil PKR 676.36 million, silver PKR 178.42 million and cotton PKR 10.72 million.
