USAID AMD official visits TDAP office

Peter Dickrell, US-Pakistan Partnership for Agricultural Market Development (AMD) Chief of Party has said that his organisation will continue its co-ordination to enhance trade and export development efforts through targeted support and facilitation of services to Pakistani exporters.
According to Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) officials, the Peter Dickrell stated this while his visit to the authority's head office along his team here. Secretary TDAP Rabiya Javeri Agha and other senior officials were present on this occasion.
The both high officials expected that strategic collaboration between TDAP and USAID-AMD project will result in the effective utilisation of resources, and will provide a structured approach to engaging international buyers at the various international trade show events, subsequently, leading to an increased awareness of Pakistani targeted product lines, more sales leads and sustainable increase in agriculture exports. They said AMD project is a USAID funded activity with the goal of supporting the development of Pakistan's commercial agriculture, particularly through improving the ability of Pakistan's agriculture and livestock sectors to meet international requirements, improve market linkages and support supply-demand synergies between producers and buyers. AMD's implementation strategy is underpinned by a strictly commercial and market driven approach, they added.
