Open balloting for the allotment of as many as 504 plots of Punjab government Servants Housing Foundation's Housing Scheme being completed at Adyala Road, near Gulshan-e-Abad Scheme was conducted here in the "Liberty Castle Hall", Main Boulevard, Gulberg on Friday. The ceremony was attended by all those retired government officers and officials who had opted for allotment of plot to them in Rawalpindi as their first priority.
Managing Director Punjab Government Servants Housing Foundation Dr Pervaiz Ahmad Khan, while addressing the ceremony, informed the members of the foundation that the Punjab Chief Minister has directed that a five year plan to acquire government land for establishment of new housing schemes for the retired government officers and officials be identified so that the retired government servants could be given satisfactory living environment.
