SBI wants to hold 'business opportunity' conference with US Consulate

Sindh Board of Investment (SBI) has shown interest in holding a business opportunity conference with the cooperation of US Consulate to brief the US investors pertaining to the investment opportunities in Sindh. This was expressed by SBI Chairperson Naheed Memon during meeting with Deputy Economic Counsellor, American Consulate in Islamabad, Edwin Saeger along with Economic Officer of US Consulate - Karachi, Frank Talluto at her office.
Naheed Memon said Sindh government intended to extend all possible cooperation for promotion of investment in Sindh and further improve the relations with the US investors.
She informed that SBI was willing to organise a business opportunity conference with the cooperation of US Consulate to brief the US investors pertaining to investment opportunities in Sindh. She called upon the US investors to explore the investment opportunities in agriculture, automobile, education and other sectors. Naheed further said investors were being provided many incentives in the special economic zones in Sindh province and urged the US envoy to work jointly and organise more meetings for the purpose. Later, Edwin Saeger has assured his full cooperation for promotion of US investment in Sindh. Economic Specialist of US Consul General Office Fahad Zaidi and Director Administration Abrar Ahmed Sheikh were also present on the occasion.
