Health sector: PDWP approves two schemes costing Rs 11.5 billion

The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party has given its approval to the Integrated Reproductive Maternal New-born & Child Health & Nutrition Program at the cost of Rs 9882.560 million and Prevention and Control of Hepatitis B&C in the province at the cost of Rs 1997.073 million.
The health programmes were approved in the 11th meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of current fiscal year 2016-17 presided over by the Punjab Chairman P&D Board Muhammad Jahanzeb Khan. Secretary P&DD Iftikhar Ali Sahoo, Members of the Planning & Development Board, Provincial Secretaries concerned and other senior representatives of the relevant Provincial Departments also attended the meeting.
According to Spokesman for P&DD, the PDWP also gave its approval to the scheme of Road Sector titled Repair and Rehabilitation of road from Silanwali to Chak No 58 / Janubi via 119 More, 126/SB length=39.80 km, District Sargodha (Revised) at the cost of Rs 1034.869 million, the schemes of Health Sector included Integrated Reproductive Maternal New-born & Child Health & Nutrition Program at the cost of Rs 9882.560 million and Prevention and Control of Hepatitis B&C in Punjab at the cost of Rs 1997.073 million.
