StanChart Pakistan receives 'Best Digital Islamic Bank 2016'

Standard Chartered Pakistan has been recognised as the Best Digital Islamic Bank in Aisa 2016 by Global Finance. This is the second year in a row that Standard Chartered has won this award. This award is a recognition of Standard Chartered's superior Shariah compliant product suite and digital banking capabilities which are unmatched in the market.
Standard Chartered was the first international bank to get an Islamic Banking license in 2004 and to open the first Islamic Banking branch in Pakistan. Our Islamic Banking innovation capability is reflected in being the first and only bank to offer a Shariah-Compliant credit card in the country.
